If the hokage win, it's nothing but high-extreme diff. People always seem to underrate the power of akatsuki on these forumns. Every single akatsuki member, bar probably hidan, can and most times has taken out a kage/kage level opponent.

Pain( weaker than nagato) essentially took out tsunade.
Deidara took out gaara
Sasori took out 3rd kaazekage
Kakuzu fought and survived hashirama(strongest kage)
Itachi took out orochimaru(in line for hokage)
kisame took out killer bee(as strong as raikage, if not stronger)
Konan almost took out obito(top 5 at time)

Together these guys are OP as hell due to their diverse techs. They essentially cover all 5 elements, Dojutsus, kinjutsu, sealing jutsu, top tier taijutsu and ninjutsu, Poison warfare, chakra absorption, summoning, high level defence, kenjutsu and, if the opponent has Obito included, Space time ninjutsu.
In fact, if you consider the full akatsuki, there's also sasuke and orochimaru...

Deidara and kakuzu's destructive capabilities -- along with kakuzu's knowledge of fighting and surviving hashi -- are enough to hold off hashirama's mokuton attacks.
Nagato easily gets rid of Hiruzen.
Kisame gets rid of Tobirama.
Itachi gets rid of minato.

It's now hashirama vs the entire akatsuki. At this point, Akatsuki just needs to leave with the help of zetsu and have deidara go C0. Deidara's 10Km explosion dwarfs shinshuusenju 10 times over.

If these are the Edo Hokage, than Akatsuki gets shitted on.

If this is the alive versions of all the Hokage, then the Hokage win high diff since Hashirama will be carrying most of the weight.

If these are the 4 Edo Kage Kabuto reincarnated, then Nagato solo stomps.
