the homunculi. they actually achieved alot and worked well together. the espada kinda completely failed as a group imo. if they actually mobilized as a group they would have neg difd everyone except yammamoto. if they had at least moved in groups of 2 like the akatsuki it woulda played out better

Yeah, good analysis. I feel the Homuculi worked best because they were, ultimately, a family, and with the exception of Pride seemed to care about each other. The Akatsuki were also rather effecient because they mobilized together and managed to put aside their own goals for the ultimate goal of the Akatsuki (gathering the Tailed Beasts) and probably only failed because their plan wasn't given as much time to develop as Father's was. The Espada failed due to a lack of organization and Aizen being a rather crappy leader (when you really think about it).

Half of them aren't memorable, whereas most of us could name the Homunculi or Akatsuki. They also had a very minimal role and didn't stay for too long, in the story.

yeah lol i loved ulquiorra in fact i loved most of the espada but they completely failed. didn't achieve a damn thing.

my biggest problem was aizen leaving ulquiorra behind when he went to war. ulquiorras presence would have made such a huge difference in the espadas performance.

Homunculi are the best villain group out of these three. Think about it, they actual founded Amestris, creating a country and having it be a military leader that would overtake neirboring countries. In the process taking advatage of the countless deaths - aiming to then destroy Amestris as well for their ultimate plan. They were loyal to each other, like brothers, with a single objective in mind. And when someone had to die, they got it done.

Espada in second place, Akatsuki is a bunch of rogues that came together, with everyone having diferent plans in mind. Even the "leader" gave up on his plans (Nagato). While the Espada didn't last long enough, they were all loyal to Aizen and despite their inner fights, they all shared the same mind; ultimately betrayed by their leader, but still better than Akatsuki.

1. Akatsuki: Best group dynamics, awesome abilities, cool personalities.

2. Homunculi: Also cool abilities and I liked their origin. I just like the Akatsuki members more than than the Homunculi tho.

The Akatsuki are the best organized in terms of team work, the Espada are the best in most destructive power, and the Homunculi are the best when it comes to actual accomplishments in my opinion.

The homunculi were more like a family, the akatsuki more like a somewhat close-knit group of rogue ninja, & the espada just seemed like a bunch of henchmen.

I enjoyed the dynamic b/w the homunculi the best, akatsuki had some nice dynamics as well [eg. Hidan & Kakuzu]. Obito & Father also seemed like more interesting leaders than Aizen, he was just really powerful & really smart.
