That in its self is relevant to the topic at hand, all Tsunade could do is tell Sakura or show her what to do. The rest is was up to Sakura herself, look at the requirements to be a medical ninja...
That is a complete downplay in what details a 'what is passed down, and what is created'. Tsuande created these things she taught Sakura, and Sakura reaped those benefits from second hand information. This is why it took Minato years to create the Rasengan, and why someone like Boruto, could learn it in a few days. Naruto, weeks.
No one is downplaying Sakura's skill when it comes to learning medical ninjutsu, which requires someone to have good chakra control, but that doesn't make them talented. Especially when she crafted her skills over many years of training via a Sannin.
Now if Sakura had brought herself, herself key point, to a high level with any form of ninjutsu, medical ninjutsu, or even genjutsu (taijutsu too) -- You would have a really fair point.
Bringing up the fact that Sakura didn’t live up to any potential or couldn’t without Tsunade means nothing in the face of Sakura being exceptional intellectual which in turn allowed her to learn every one of Tsunade techniques and her healing becoming more excellent in the time span of three years.
Because it's the darn truth. Remove Tsunade out of the equation, where is Sakura? Nowhere. She's in the dirt.
Remove Orochimaru out of Sasuke's equation, where is he? Still would be considered a higher level than his team mates, and class. He just probably wouldn't be low-kage in Shippuden.
Remove Jiraiya out of Naruto's equation, where he is? He would be struggling and piss poor.
There's a large difference between someone the Manga hails as a natural born genius, and someone who is working hard off of other people's success.
Sakura mastering medical ninjutsu in three years while effectively learning Tsunades entire arsenal and even mastering her forbidden technique in the same time span is the make of a genius.
Tsunade mastering medical ninjutsu within an unlimited time, and changing what it means to be a Medical Ninja by herself, is what a true Genius is.
Sakura learning what Tsunade did, never hailed the term Genius from nobody, not Tsunade, not even Shizune. Not once did anyone consider those three years to be impressive by the standard of incredibly gifted via the term "exceptional among her peers".
Heck, after mid-Part 2 she became a meaningless regardless. Soon after Naruto learned Futon: Rasenshuriken... lol. Right after Naruto reached Kage level with Sage Mode, Sasuke was already Kage level, and Sakura remained piss poor again.
So I'm quite astonished that you could even consider Sakura's feats to be that impressve anyway. I mean even a pre-Academy Sarada learned to bring her CES strength before she wore a headband, which took Sakura 3 years post-Genin. Talk about genius :lol
