can you see how stupid you are when you make this thread? how can the kages possibly failed when the fight haven't even end yet...i dont give a damn whether these kages are the weakest among their generations...but look at madara...he has unlimited power with an immortal body...yet the kages managed to hang on for so long...use some common sense before you talk...you dont own this base...before calling someone a ******...take a look at yourself

1: Gaara is 16...he's young for a Kage,if he were the same age as any of the other Kage in their prime,he'd be the BAWS!!
2: Oonoki is epically old and past his prime. He still managed to take a chunk out of Madara after fighting through a war.
3: Mei...I don't know sh*t about her other than the fact she managed one hell of an assault.
4: 4th Raikage is very strong and has been attacking Madara non-stop. You have no idea how he compares to his father.
5: Tsunade....well she's not great as far as I've seen.

The 5 Kage,are fine. They just got slapped by Madara Susanoo after avoiding a perfected version of the 1st's Forrest of Trees Jutsu. If you'd been slapped by Susanoo and lived to tell the tale. I'd be singing ur praises.
They are all standing and ready to fight, Madara is missing a chunk of himself. If you hadn't noticed btw,Madara is an Edo. Look at his shoulder,it's reforming itself.

they are kages for pete's sake, they'll recover quickly! and then kick edo madara's *ss.

Anyway, I agree, we've seen so little of the others that we can't say much atm. As far as Gaara & Oonoki are concerned, they've shown themselves to be BOSS!!

They are doing pretty good IMO

that's an understatement. they're amazing to be still alive!! ordinary shinobis would've been roasted! LOL. they are not made as kages for nothing.

I knew this would happen. If oonoki beats Madara I'm gonna be pissed. Madara truly is a great ninja, it looks like theses generations are a lot weaker.
The first is praised that much, I wonder how naruto is gonna compete with that.

She has a lot of chakra, there is no doubt about that. Her rebirth technique is unique and uses a lot of it as well. Not to mention how she uses chakra to increase her taijutsu damage (cracking walls, opening rifts, knocking down castles, creating the grand canyon, you got the picture)

However, I agree that it is weird Hashirama's KKG didn't pass to his heirs.



I second that. By the way how did Tobirama got to be A++ when he was nearly killed by the kin-gin brothers? And they weren't even Edo at the time. Not to say that in the way it only took Darui along with Ino and Shikamaru to defeat both of them..

Honestly, it seems many people here hate Tsunade just for the sake of hating her, with no reason at all. If you want to hate her, go ahead since it is your right to do so. But please, stop trying to make a fool of us with your "proofs" that she is a failure; especially evidences based on rumors or one's feelings, instead of evidence and facts..

If you have any doubt about her feats and strenght, go back to the part where she was chosen to be Hokage, and you will see how people admired her. And if you have a question about her strenght, just take a look at Kakashi's face (anime I think) when he was fighting Sakura and she opened the ground to find him. His own thoughts acknowledged Sakura's strenght and called her a monster, and she was only the apprentice... Tsunade opened up the street in the "fight" against Naruto with 1 finger. And it seems she didn't even use that much power.

Now hold on a second...why would you think they failed? Let me give you some reasons why this battle is very one-sided...

1. Part of the battle was off screen and happened during Naruto's battle with the Masked Man...
2. Madara is incapable of dying due to Edo.
3. He has power ranging from his normal, the Rinnegan, and the First Hokage's DNA.
4. As I said earlier, off screen time may have happened which means during this time they could have been beating him down like crazy. As long as he is under Edo, any damage done will be healed and removed.

While he he looks perfectly intact, it doesn't mean they haven't damaged him severely. Also, this generation is weaker because it's alot more peaceful than the others. Back during the first few generations there was plenty of war and power conflicts. Most of the shinobi now a days deal more in politics than brute strength.

Not to mention many bloodlines are all but dead, or rapidly fading away. (For example Tsunade being related to the First Hokage and Second Hokage but having only her extreme strength from the First.

I'll admit they are weaker, but there are reasons for it. Not to mention the opponent they have is near-god level...
