How did they push him to the limits? he simply brought out his complete susanoo, and thoroughly destroyed them. they failed in defeating him

Not even that, but can't you lower the whole 'zeich heil Uchiha are the superior race' stuff? on every post it's getting a little creepy. I love my favourite characters too but I can also acknowledge their flaws, it's why I like them so damn much in the first place and trust me, the Uchiha have a LOT of flaws so please tone it down a little? :')

Just to add something to this thread though, no- I think the kage did a fine job of fighting Edo Madara, punching his arm off and almost sealing him is no easy feat though it would've been nice to focus on how good the 5 kage's teamwork is rather than 'lol luk how strung madra is guiz' and the Kage as such weren't represented as well as I feel they could've done in any other chapter.

Agreed. It's Madara. From the old tales, to his dramatic entrance as Edo making people scream "OHMY- IT'S MADARA!!!", toying with the Gokage, disrespecting them, forming his Voltron/Ultraman/Mazinger Z, and then another dramatic entrance to another action-packed battlefield.

Whew. How will the exhausted Naruto, Bee, Guy, and Kakashi fight the new dynamic duo of Tobito and Madara now? Poweroverwhelming

It doesn't matter if it's just a little corner panel, just show us some dead Kages.

Really, the only ones I wanted to survive were Mei and Gaara.

Considering they fought someone who was arguably one of the strongest characters in the HST, they didn't do too badly. I still think that they should have showed Onoki die, Tsunade use Slug Mode, and Mei use her acid techniques to melt Susanoo. Oh well, maybe the kages will come back, if they're not dead.

I suspect Madara left some wood clones to handle Madara's "light work" while he went off to chase after the Kuubi. He may have killed some Kage before so. This would make Naruto Rage... Perfect Kuubi Transformation.

I tend to think that if he did truly leave the battlefield some of the kages are chasing him, while one is badly or mortally injured. When Naruto sees that kage isn't with him he rages and it becomes rage Naruto + 4 kages + Gai+ Bee+ Kakashi+ Joint Shinobi Army vs Tobi and Madara

Though it's possible clones are being in use here.
