Ok so bz mentions it being bad that naruto makes it to the plane that connects the 5 dimensions.... we see 4 of them... I assumed the 5th was the nv that we know.... but doesn't sasuke go to kaguyas castle or whatever in a diff dimension, which would mean she didn't have quick access to her own castle? And technically shouldn't she be easily able to access the kamui dimension as well? Was the plane just set up to have easy access to dimensions? And if that's the case why wouldn't she put her home as one of them? Or did I totally miss something?(which happens lol)

The 5th Dimension is where Team 7 beat Kaguya. Kaguya's Ameno being linked to certain dimensions doesn't mean she doesn't have quick access to whatever dimension that castle was in. She can travel through dimensions without Ameno.

Makes sense. What's the purpose of the plane between the 5 then? Just for quick battle purposes?

I'm not sure if the anime just shows more dimensions but there's more than 4

And those dimensions kaguya actually created, and since all techniques are hers so also has access to the kamui dimension

I'm not sure what you mean about kaguyas castle kaguya should access all her dimensions pretty easily sasuke had trouble until he got the gezo scroll to dimension hop

She should be able to access Kamui's dimension, since cross-dimensional teleportation is all the same in practice. In fact, with it being so close to Earth's, it should be a cinch for her. Obito found it extremely difficult to reach her dimensions:
