I would like to held Danzo responsible for it rather than Konoha, don't forget Orochimaru was Root, before being caught by Hiruzen, so I don't think Danzo didn't know about about Oro's intentions. So I think point#3 comes first.

They had spies in all other countries. If they were caught, a war could start. Also not a single problem? Konoha gave the world the Akatsuki. Hashirama did fine, it's his predecessors of the next few generations who let it fall apart.

Hashirama wanted to end the cycle of throwing children onto the battlefield but as you stated the predecessors overruled that which has now lead us to where we are now (Obito, Rin and Kakashi)

His hatred would've been built up anyway having parents replace the ones that got killed by his big brother isn't solving anything.I don't know what kind of wacked out person would think putting him up for adoption would solve anything.

Literally anything that reminds him he isn't totally alone. Weekly lessons from Hiruzen could've at least made him feel more special and wanted, Hiruzen could've easily become Sasuke's father figure.

If people knew he was the Fourth's son, he'd be in danger
if you've paid enough attention. Plus, the villagers would hate the fourth too.

Reread my post. I said that would be a dumb idea but there is damn middle ground between being praised and resented, treated like a monster.

the blame of the uchiha incident ultimately falls to konoha..that's what kishi has been tryna say this whole time in the manga
physically and mentally they were cornered into a position where they thought their end would come either way so they decided to revolt against the reigning government
it's like the tamils and sri lankan government

they were not being backed into a corner... they were slowly being distanced for observation because they were growing in power, and then they decided we are not going to sit there and be shuned wen they figured they had the power to take over, and then decided to make plans for that take over, but the village had hold of an uchiha (itachi) who didnt share the same opinion, and thus that plan leaked to ppl who took measures to prevent such a take over... and thus the choices to deter the take over were hatched, and happened to be; kill them wen they try the coup, or kill them before they try the coup..... my mind is too shallow??? ur just an uchiha fan who isnt paying attention...

wel having spies in other country is a tactic to keep themselves one step ahead of other countries . .mostly every country has spies in other countries. .konoha tried to stop akatsuki everytime . .thats y they were searching obito n co. ..they had kyuubi in their hand but never tried to misuse it . .Only danzo part was pretty much ****ed up one . .he was cunning until his death . .he even tried to become hokage by deceiving tsunade. .apart from him everything was even

This is the dumbest thing I've read today.No matter how you slice it, Sasuke was going tobuild up hatred no matter what.He witness is older brother murder his mother and father along with the massacre of his clan.There was no way to stop him from becoming filled with hatred and wanting revenge.This is obvious to anyone who has read the manga and know the history of the Uchiha Clan.Sasuke was loved by all the girls in the village, had friends in Naruto and Sakura, yet still left the village to pursue power to kill his brother.What would adoptive parents have done to change him, gave him cookies and every night before bed?

I've already said. Hiruzen could've easily dedicated time out of his really open schedule to train Sasuke personally, making him feel wanted and special to the Hokage- maybe even making Hiruzen his then-father figure. It's better than just leaving the damn kid alone, that's for sure.

Sparing Orochimaru was a good choice. Ended up bringing the Hokages back to help in the war.

I guess so but remember he did also put one of them there. As well as making Sasuke into a wanted missing nin and creating Kabuto who caused the war.

Number 2 is a freaking disaster and proof Hiruzen is a shitty Hokage.

It's pure plot and luck for Konoha that Nardo didn't go batshit crazy. And it is primarily the higher-ups of Konoha who are to blame for Sasuke's craziness.

The citizens of Konoha are even worse.

:I Yall are forgetting one big thing about it all.. Without these events.. We would be bored watching Naruto join another mission about some bullcrap. There would be no epic bad guy group. Just be grateful it happened or we would be stuck watching normal episodes like Pokemon.
