The manga would've been a lot better if the Akatsuki had their own village and were expanding. Like they have a legit reason to go against the shinobi system.

The akatsuki village should've been full of people who was treated unfair from the shinobi system.

In the end, it should've been shinobi alliance vs the akatsuki village.

Then when the shinobi alliance and akatsuki learn about Madara's IT plan, they work together to stop him.

Well this entire war was all Black Zetsu scheme being the ultimate mastermind, even though Obito and Madara gets most of the spotlight, in the end, Ootsutski gets the main focus
