The 4th Great Shinobi World War - In Retrospect

Is it just me or is anyone else wondering what the point of the last two years was? The two men that instigated the war have stopped pretending to be other people, and now it's upon them to rejuvenate Naruto and Sasuke. I can find significance in the resulting outcomes of some of the events that occurred during the war, but I feel like there were just as many things that were unnecessary. I'm sure many will agree that a lot of the logical aspects were thrown to the wind a pretty long time ago. As of present plot it seems like the war only served as a red carpet/starting line for Madara's path of destruction. Everything before that feels like it's ended up not meaning very much by current plot logic/standards. What do ya'll think/what's coming next?

I have no clue but I think besides guy and lee and kakashi I think more will die and I don't think once madaras dead (again) I think more fighting will happen I'm not sure about orochimaru he might possess sasuke once he is weakened again after the fight

The fight with Sasuke and Itachi vs Kabuto was very significant to Sasuke's development. The fight with Obito was a major part of the plot and for Naruto's development. The only unnecessary part of the war was the fights against the edos.

I don't think any of the pairings are going to happen to be honest not much point anymore and I like both narusaku and naruhina but at this point I gave up on both its just pointless

it shows that the "villains" aren't evil and shows how anyone can be brought back and accepted for their actions. Naruto is the one who changed Obito, and for some reason Itachi-the-side-character, changed Kabuto

Sorry to burst your bubble yo. I like Hinata, and I know that in real life she'd be a much more attractive lover than Sakura. However, Sakura is very similar to Kushina and Kushina told Naruto to meet a nice girl like herself. Ntm there are panel parallels of Naruto saving Sakura's day in ways similar to how Minato saved Kushina.

I also think Orochimaru is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As far as deaths go I'm sure Gai won't be the last.

These were all things I had in mind as things that needed to happen. I was talking about all the edo tensei fights and such.

I agree. I like that his character ended up being humble/goofy/still a beast. I'd like to see him go out with bang.

The whole 10 tailed beast thing was a waste of time. Why talk so much about it if they're just gonna have some dude absorb the 10 tails all the time. And it seems moons eye plan has been thrown out the window, it seems every chapter madara is more concerned with showing a new power up and making everyone else look like ants... AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
