I for one am an avid OP fan, but I am not a fan of the anime. If you want to get into OP, read the manga, don't watch the anime.

Agreed, although the anime itself isn't THAT bad just compared to the manga is where you start to see the main issues. Even then, it isn't terrible to the point where you don't want to watch it. OP's anime biggest issue is the 1 chapter per episode pacing. However, Toei has been doing a poor job since the TS with the anime.


OT: AOT, it isn't that great IMO. TG is like that as well. Toriko anime is the anime I hate the most, Toei messed it up badly and censored the series to shit and skipped important canon scenes.

I picked a few chapters to read and the art style irritated me. It looks ridiculous at times imo.

That's how the art-style of One Piece is. Those over-exaggerated faces/wacky character designs are the charm of the art-style. OP art is the best art from weekly shonen's.

It isn't a charm to me. Bleach's art is better in my opinion, just as One Piece's art is the best in yours.

I google'd bleach's artwork, it's no where near as detailed as One Piece's. Well ofc it isn't a charm for you since you barely read it lol. Besides, I don't think the art-style should be the only factor as to why you hate the series. (for you it seems you hate both the anime/manga)

One Piece's detail is impressive, but I just prefer Bleach's art style.

I just can't get into the story, and the art really doesn't sit well with me.
