Compare to the other MS abilities ,Shin MS seems the weakest, but yet a kurama mode naruto got own by a mere sword in spite that in the kurama sage mode naruto is a sensor therefore can sense chakra which should have made a piece of cake sensing and dodging that sword, sasuke also was able to keep up with madara jj and yet he couldn´t do anything else that tanking those knives and got paralized by them even though he has half of hagoromo´s chakra which should have made very difficult for a shin to paralize him.

Where is susano, where is the solo glance or clap, where are gududamas, where is naruto sensing abilities, also naruto is supposed to be able to heal in no time since he has the kyuby and hagoromo´s senjutsu.
The nerfing in this chapter was major, but oh well , all for the sake of plot.

Yup, now that they're adults, they fall prey to the same nerfs that Kakashi / Minato constantly dealt with. They basically looked as bad this chapter as Edo Hashirama / Minato looked against Madara.
