Izanami only lasts until the person under it's illusion acknowledges what he's done and accepts his fate basically he just need to accept reality and who he is. Kabuto's a pretty smart guy and he would of listened to Itachi advice that is given in the loop.

If it is Kabuto, with all the knowledge he has on Senju's, Uchiha's, Rinnegan and the so6p...maybe there will be a power up for Sasuke too?
