That May Not Be Karin's DNA

Ok, I really need to get this off my chest:

To all the people saying, "That could be Sasuke's dna, not Karin's!",it is 100% possible to determine whether a piece of dna come from a man or a woman. If the dna was in fact Sasuke's, it would've likely shown a Y chromosome peak on Suigetsu's dna test. So unless Suigetsu is completely ignorant of this fact, the sample most likely came from a woman.

I agree with other posters that the thing in the box was a piece of an umbilical cord. While Karin liked to hoard things as part of her Sasuke obsession, I doubt she wouldn't gotten her hands on something like that.

No one in the thread mentioned Sasuke's umbilical cord. :/ The op only states that if it was an umbilical cord it could have been Salad's. And if it was something else (not an umbilical cord) it could have been Sasuke's. :|

It's just a theory lol. I'd prefer if she's Karin's kid, I just don't see Kishi doing the SS fandom like this when it's the largest het pairing fandom in Japan.

I was only covering all bases. Never said you mentioned Sasuke's umbilical cord. Though it's pretty clear that it is one. Suigetsu clearly states that it's from when Karin was born. That can only be an umbilical cord.

This has been a pathetic red herring from the start:

- Salad questions whether Sakura is her mom or not for no reason at all. The first red herring premise. It happens world over that people marry through arranged marriages and fathers go abroad and they can't come back for a considerable time. Sometimes more than a decade.

- Sakura loses her cool, enough, to punch the ground for no reason, and conviniently, the whole house is destroyed and Salad sees the cracked picture out of the entire rumble.

- Sakura faints before she can answer, and conviniently doesn't wake up before Salad doesn't leave.

- When she meets up with them, and seems ready to answer Salada's questions, Sakura is conveniently taken away.

- When Salad shows up at the compound, the one person that can say yes or no, isn't at the compound but somewhere else.

If Kishimoto is going for this Sasuke x Karin route, then he has a cheap way of showing it as this has low-key red herring written all over it. Not to mention the fact that I can't see an out of wed-lock affair happening in a manga aimed at 12 year olds.
