That lastest Kakashi Filler

When it was going over the Kyuubi invasion scenes, it didn't show the capture of it by Minato, and it had previously shown Kakashi being put on break from guarding. Then the next scene we see Naruto on the platform, Kushina, and Minato, with a large hole through his chest, which was from the Kyuubi's claw.

However, due to it being filler a sudden thought jumped to mind. What if this is a ret con filler of Kakashi's childhood, and he just killed Minato. Yes I know thats a silly idea, but the hole in Minato's chest looked very familiar to Chidori, which we had just seen Kakashi use numerous times as a one shot kill earlier in the episode.

My point here is, would you appreciate if Kishi were to make Ret-cons of certain key events, like what if he did short episodes where we see what would have happened if certain events never took place, or happened differently, such as

• Kyuubi was never sealed and Obito took it after killing Minato and Kushina, but Naruto had been rescued by the Third
• Itachi never killed the Uchiha, and the Coup happened
• Itachi killed Sasuke with the rest of the clan
• Jiraiya had gone bad, not Orochimaru
• Naruto was taken by Orochimaru, not Sasuke

Yes, some of these ideas were put into place in the last movie, but there are so many more that would have been really neat to see.

We saw the claw go through Minato and Kushina's cheat plus Minato used Death Reaper Seal sooo..... but i see where you're coming from, what you're saying reminds me of the latest movie in a way

Another few: If Rin never died, If Kakashi was the one crushed under the rock and not Obito, if the Uzumaki clan was never slaughtered, if Ino was taken in by Tsunade, if Hinata beat Neji at the chuunin exams. I can see what you mean, there are so many.

I'd like to retcon the Sasuke retrieval arc, where Neji survived his battle with Kidomaru. In retrospect, I would have much rather him have died then and there rather than come into Shippuden, get no development, and then be killed just to give shippers something to feed on.

His part 1 death was much more respectable and better written.
