I'm not gonna go on a rant like I usually do, I'll take the high road out.
Kishi's story telling only appeals to you when he's showcasing some fights or something.......but otherwise, the things that hold true meaning are meaningless to most of you...........which is sad really.
As promised, I'm gonna do my best to explain to explain today's chapter to those who skimmed through it looking for action and those saying it was all a flashback.......
The point of today's chapter was not to show a flashback of the Kage and their meeting, but to convey a message.
Today's chapter was about Hashirama revealing his own true dream to the masses, since his psyche was linked to all the Shinobi, he could show them what was in his heart as he showed the other Kage during their meeting all those years ago.....
It was the answer to Madara's ambition/dream, the exact opposite of it in fact.
Madara envisioned a time where everything would be united by the Mugen Tsukuyomi, a super Genjutsu that would enable everyone to escape reality. That was Madara's "dream of the future".
Hashirama on the other hand cooperated and made efforts to unify all the major countries in order to pave the way for his own "dream of the future", which was the true unification of all the lands and people.
At the end of the chapter, we see all the shinobi from all the different lands standing together, along with the Kage of their lands, united.
Today's chapter signified the fact that both the dreams of Hashirama and Madara are alive and equally strong.
The Shinobi alliance and Mugen Tsukuyomi.
We also found out that there is now a Senjutsu Susanoo.......etc
Well, I can only hope that clarified things for you guys and that you see the chapter in a new light now.
This is goodbye people of NB. It was fun while it lasted. I am gonna miss the awesome and informative theories made by a Tebows Youth Group and Derp Obito(the reason I came here in the first place).
I will also miss the positive comments about this story by the true Naruto fans who are passionate about this manga like myself.
I apologize if I have offended anyone today or in the past.
This is The God of Wind, saying goodbye.
Nice knowing you all, I wish you luck and prosperity in the future.
See ya!
