On top of that Madara's mad reflexes. Yuppp no wonder Hashirama was considered stronger than a S/T user.

He saw what Minato did and he applied it to his kunai, very good application skills, and that scene reminded me of the one of Minato vs Obito. But he lacked the ability to use Kage bushing on his kunai, that would have helped him a bit more.

I mean if you want to consider the very small amount of movement it took for the kunai to turn to a downward position to be sufficient enough to be a different variant of FTG then ok man have it your way

Yes, seal that's moving, traveling seal, same thing right? That's what most people consider it as I just personally think it's something different that Kishi just didn't take the time to explain. Seems kind of lame to throw a kunai and say it's a new version but that's just me. A perfect reason is my comment to the guy above. If a moving seal is all you need than technically Tobirama just did FTG V2 just from the slight movement his kunai did when he dropped it temporarily.

But yea now that Tobirama has picked up the kunai trick the Minato thing is pretty much over

When we were first introduced to FTG, it was done so via a seal on a kunai. So there's no way that FTG V2 is simply "aka a seal on a kunai".
