He just wanted to finish with it, probably. And I hardly think the last chapter ruined the great moments from before. Sure it wasn't amazing but the last chapter was just a fun little thing, showing the generation all grown up. Definitely should have been paced better so the end wouldn't be so rushed, but oh well.
