Naruto and Minato on the other hand are Naive as ****. Sometimes you need to make the cold decisions, and killing Obito was one that needed to be done. It's not the same as Sasuke's crimes, there's no coming back.

If Sasuke killed Obito, Madara would still be there and if Obito was dead, Kakashi and Minato would go with the alliance to stop edo Madara and while nobody is looking, Black Zetsu would take the Rinnegan from Obito's corpse and use it to revive Madara. So yeah, Madara would still be revived even if Obito died.

It's funny when people blame characters for not doing a certain thing, do you think they have a mind of their own or what? Kishi decides what happens in the story. Obito needs to live for the time being, so that Madara can get his rinnegan, that's how plot works, regardless if you like it or not.
