I actually did get emotional reading chapter 700. It truly felt final, despite the continuation next year. However the story of Naruto and his gen ending is what makes the impact. Seeing their kids confirms it's truly over and all is concluded. Now like in real life, the next gen is taking over, technology is advancing and new stories are just around the corner!
