all what i can say is that i am very thankful one piece has so much further to go. i mean we have 7-10 years left. and i am super excited to see it all going.

I mean the story has so much potential and each character is so well developed it is just pure enjoyable. i am definelty in love with the series.

still 7-10 years is better than it ending next year, the one piece needs to be found, then the war needs to start, and then we need luffy and shanks reunion and then we need to see luffy become King of the pirates. there is alot left. naruto doesn't have much left. defeat juubi fight sasuke, and thats it 30+ chapters at most

If my memory serves me right, the creator of One Piece, Oda Eiichiro, once stated that he has written down the whole story with a lot of details. If he dies before the series ends, the story is given to someone he trusts.
