well speaking of crying the first time i cried in naruto anime was when naruto says about haku to zabuza.i also cried when in the kakashi boy's life in battlefield episodes.The death of obito was more sad then the death of jiraiya for me.

totally agree ... Jiraya's death was simply just "wth?" ... suprising for me, still sad, but not the most emotinal in the manga, to be honest.
