Chapter 2: Evergreen
The team continues their journey in the evergreen forest,with the village in sight.
Louis: looks like we are almost there
Linda: Yes,thats the village's southern gate *points to the gate about 10 kilometers away*
A few hours later,the team arrives in the village.
Linda: why is the gate left unguarded? *Linda says with a suprised look on her face,she then turns her head to look at Louis and Lewis*
Lewis: Looks like something is wrong...
Louis: Yes,this is not what Evergreen used to be *Louis says while looking around*
Linda: *sees smoke from afar* This place was raided
Lewis:Lets see *They all move towards the village and sees people*
Louis: What happened?
Man: Our village got raided by level5 beasts.
Linda: What about the tool wielder?
Man: She left for the tournament.
Lewis: Maybe we can help...
Man: They always come at night
Linda: Okay...can we get a place to stay?
Man: Yes,you can stay in my place,we would be very greatful if you could kill those beasts *The man starts to walk away signaling the kids to follow him*
They walk through a few streets before finally arriving at the Man's house.
Man: This is my house *the man says while opening the door* Follow me *He says as he enters*
The man and the kids enter the sitting room which has a small table in the center and a family picture on the wall.
Man: sit down and let me get us food *the man says and leaves the kids alone and goes out*
Lewis: Are we supposed to sit on the floor? *Lewis asks no one in particular*
Linda: *looks at Lewis* Yes,at least i dont see any chair in here
Louis: *walks to a corner in the room and drops,his bag,he then walks over to the small round table and sits beside it* Stand there till the man comes *Louis says to the other two with a smile on his face*
Lewis and Linda looks at Louis.
In derbitton,a young woman with short pink air packed into a ponytail,wearing a short red top that leaves her stomach region open and a short thight skirt sits on her throne.
Azula: Have you found the kids? *Azula asks while crossing her legs to reveal most of her laps*
Zed: (an old man wearing a white robe with a black belt with samurai's sandal) Yes,they have arrived in Evergreen*he replies while on one knee,bowing to Azula*
Azula: all three of them?
Zed: yes,my lady,they managed to meet up
Azula: we must not let them get to the capital
Zed: yes we wont but my lady,you are forgetting what the prophets said
Azula: prophets my foot *Azula shouts while slamming her right foot on the ground* We will change the prophecy and kill those three kids even before they get to know each other well
Zed: yes my lady,but you the combination of those three tools is the best on the planet, their powers combined are unrivaled...
Azula: *interrupts* shut it,go and bring those kids alive *Azula shouts*
Zed: okay my lady,i will be on my way *Zed says and stands up,he then heads out of the castle*
Back in Evergreen,
Louis is sitting on the southern gate,Lewis is leaning on the wall and Linda is walking up and down.
Linda: Mr Yang is a nice person,he lets us stay in his house and even fed us
Louis: Thats because we are trying to help them,if not for that,they wouldnt have let us stay *Louis says while looking into the forest*
Linda: well thats true,and we have to kill those beast today cause we need to get to the capital as soon as possible...
Lewis: has any one of you ever been to the 1st district? *Lewis asks no one in particular*
Loius: i've heard a lot about it but i've never been there,i heard they are endowed with mysterious machines and people
Linda: i also only hear about it,i've never been there *Linda says while scanning the forest to see if anyone or anything is coming from it*
Lewis: i guess the technological development of a village depends on how close they are to the capital
Louis: yes Lewis,thats true and maybe thats why the villages are arranged in sort of a spiralling formation round the country
Linda: guys,looks like the beast are here *Linda says with fear in her voice*
