Texting crime?

Ok so my friend broke up with his gf and she lives in New York and he's in florida, but he still loves her, he tried texting her like crazy and she doesn't answer and he sends a lot of messages
So one day she finally does reply and says "stop or I'll call the police"
So what will happen when she calls them? Can they actually do anything? Since he's in Fl and she's in Ny[SUB][/SUB]

No. He hasn't done anything illegal, he's just annoying her at that point. The most they'd do is give him a warning, but they'd likely just tell her to block his number or do something about it herself.

Well, depending on how serious the situation has become it could be anywhere from a warning, blocked number, or a restraining order.

If there is anything you should know its that the Police care more aboure public service than actual laws.

If she is pissed then yes they will likely intervene cus the boyfriend seems like a stalker or something.
