It's not as good as I thought, but I enjoyed the chapter. The fighting isn't that long, but I'm not a fan of there being a super long battle at the beginning. There will be some fights later on, and I'll make them as long as I possibly can. xd It's pretty short, but I wanted to stop it there, otherwise what will happen in Chapter 4 would happen in Chapter 3, and I don't want that. xd Chapter 4 will most likely be one of my favorite chapters, so if you're thinking about giving up on reading this, at least read Chapter 4. 
Chapter 3
“Aki, what are you thinking? There's too many of them for the two of us to take on,” she whispered to him.
“I don't care about those low lives. The one in the tree is the one who almost killed you eleven years ago. I'll never forget his face because of that! Once I kill him, then we can flee from this place.” he exclaimed in anger.
She looked at Aki in shock, then she looked over at the tree in fear. That was the demon that almost killed her? He looked like a human though, she saw no sign of a demon in him. His straight short black hair didn't touch his neck, and he wore a black jacket similar to Aki's. He was wearing black jeans, and then she saw the one factor that revealed his demon nature: the red eyes.
“So you remembered me,” the demon said, “I remember you too. You're the kid who stopped me eleven years ago. Normally I'd give humans a chance to escape, but not this time. I was planning on attacking that village again, but you brought the girl to me.”
The demons charged at us instantly, and she grabbed an arrow and aimed at the first demon that went after her. A giant, one-eyed demon was her first target. Although they are usually tough, once their eye was hit they were useless. She fired the arrow, and it flew into the demon's eye. She smiled at her sharp shooting, but the demon was still charging at her. She ran out of the way of its fists, and then she was thinking on why it didn't work. The arrow was still in it's eye, but it turned toward her direction. It was like the demon could still see her. She was pretty sure his weakness was the eye, but that didn't work.
“Frey, what's the weakness of this centipede demon?” Aki asked.
“His head! Cut it off!” she exclaimed. If a centipede lost its head, then it couldn't operate anymore. It would become useless like a one-eyed demon.
Aki ran around the centipede, and then took slashed right at the bottom of the head. The head fell to the ground, along with a puddle of blood, but the centipede slammed into Aki.
“Are you alright?” she called to Aki.
“I-I'm fine, but that demon has no head,” he said in pain.
She studied demons every day during those eleven years as well, there was no way she was wrong about their weakness. She was pretty sure that those demons were the right species too, so how were they still operational?
She felt the wind as she was flying through the air. She wasn't paying attention to the one-eyed demon; she was too lost in her thoughts. She felt pain throughout her body, and she had to hold onto a tree just to stand up. 'Is there a way we could survive this?'
The demons stopped attacking for a moment, and the demon sitting stood up. “I think you two had enough for now. I'll allow you to leave, only if I get what I want from that girl.”
“Don't make me laugh!” she exclaimed. “I won't leave here alive if that happens. I'd rather die by these demons than allowing you to get whatever you want!”
The demons started to move again, and she fell onto the ground. She was in too much pain to stand any longer. When she looked at Aki he was trying to fight off five demons, but he wasn't doing well. He was getting attacked every time he used his sword. Every journey comes to an end eventually, so was this the end of their journey?
She closed her eyes, and then she heard a loud sound. It sounded like a demon, but it didn't sound like any of the demons that was in front of them. She opened her eyes, and the demons were gone except for a giant blue cat demon, and the one in the tree. The blue giant cat had flat fur, and it had a small thick tail. The fur was flat until the cat let out a growl, and the fur spiked up. She saw the one in the tree holding his arm, and saw the blood drip onto the ground. There was no sign of the demons who were just there, though.
“What do you think you're doing? Do you know the punishment for interrupting me?” the demon growled.
She looked at the two demons, and then panic surged through her body. She tried to move her arms, but they protested in pain. She had to do something before it was too late! “Aki, can you move?”
“No. My body won't listen to me. I tell it to move, but it won't,” he said.
The red eyed demon intended to kill the cat demon, and she couldn't allow that to happen. She didn't want any deaths to happen; she only wanted peace. If one death would help with peace, it was worth it. She won't allow that demon to do as he pleases! She gritted her teeth, and aimed her bow at the demon. Her body yelled at her to stop, but she told her body just to hold on for a little longer. She told herself that she wouldn't allow anyone close to her to die, and she was going to keep that promise. She fired the arrow, and she heard as it whipped through the air, and closed her eyes hoping that it would hit its target.
