Stop trolling. Mei's acid mist isn't doing melting Gaara's sand at a rate it would actually matter, hell his volume would disperse the shitty mist.

It doesn't have to melt the sand, all it has to do is destroy chakra Gaara controls the sand with. And it happens the very moment it enters Futton aoe.

Not to mention if Gaara goes for giantic amounts of sand (which action consumes lots of chakra), Mei can simply knock him out with a simple Water Pillar and make everything go to waste.

Also, Gaara has nothing to protect himself from Water Pillar + Water Dragon into Futton combo.

Really funny to actually think she would catch gaara in air with that or gaara on ground when sand would be blocking her vision
And let's say she catches him.How will she know she got the real one or not until she gets close leaving her open for gaara to attack

mei has 3 water style 1 lava style and 1 boil release jutsu on other hand if we take gaara's sand only he has shown at least above 10 jutsu ranging from long range attack;massive defence;sensing;sealing etc etc
being stationary does not make him weak nor does that anyhow means mei can catch him when he is airborne or know that the airborne one is real gaara not a clone

yeah like mei has shown anything close to gaara's reserve when he was the one repeteadly using massive amount of sands throughout war arc.Has 5 in databook 2 and 3 in stamina

Agreed but I have a question. Do you think Temari's fuuton can disperse acid mist? I used to think so but now that I think about it, only the portion in front of Temari should be displaced unless I'm missing something.

. Anyway all Mei needs to do is open up with acid mist and immediately, his chakra strings will melt. If he tries to remake them, they'll get melted before becoming useful. This way, Sasori can no longer control any puppets while he erodes away.

Sakura beats her.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the bonus. :lol In the bonus scenario:

-She beats Sasori easily. Hiding like a Mole or Earth Golem to defend from Iron Sand, Acid Mist to melt chakra strings making his puppets useless, then it's GG. Honestly she could actually come close to beating him without the extra buffs.

Mei's suiton should be able to push away any iron sand he uses so she should beat him even without those buffs. The scale of her suiton and speed surpasses Sasori's iron sand. I can bring evidence if you don't agree but to lazy to post it now. This gives her suiton more momentum than Sasori's iron sand which was getting pushed around by EP2 Sakura and was having its momentum stopped by Chiyo's puppets. If I'm wrong, it doesn't change the fact that water resistance and its own forward momentum will slow down the iron sand greatly allowing Mei to dodge the far slower iron sand than the ones being avoided by Chiyo and Sakura. Unless Mei is far less evasive than them, she should be able to pull off. This all assumes he can somehow manipulate iron sand even though his chakra strings used to control the 3rd Kazekage puppet will be getting melted.

-She beats Sakura easily. Elements keep her at bay and Acid Mist + Lava kill her. Suiton Clones for feints, Hidden Mist to cloud Sakura's vision etc.

-She beats Hiruzen easily.

-She beats Naruto, Acid Mist prevents CQC. Juubi Sized Katon counters Rasen Shuriken.

-She beats Orochimaru.

-Gaara and Kisame still murk her.

I think its clear Temari's wind would blow away the Acid Mist. It's the only logical outcome imo.

If her reach is far enough it'd blow away the mist, and even PTS Temari had that kind of reach and power.
