Explain this karma. What is your implication? For the innocent civilians apparently.
They got you.I wonder why these mass shootings are getting worse? Well it's because we are not changing anything when it comes to our guns and are just trying to blatantly play stupid(mostly the Republicans or gun lovers) as if this is not the core problem to why things are getting worse. If every civilian are just able to carry a handgun then these mass shootings will not have to be up in the 50's.You must be registered for see linksThese numbers would not need to be this high if we just ban heavy arms, and I don't care about people that like to go hunting, or people who just like to collect guns for the fun of it. There are no need for such high tech and dangerous weapons to the average citizen.
I hope they ban bump fire stocks cuz otherwise these mass shootings are just gonna get worse.
You just quoted media talking points. Find out the stats on gun deaths in the US yearly. Find the percentage that comes from 'Mass shootings'. Educate us on what the vast majority of gun deaths come from.I don't know what this means.
Meanwhile in the next couple of years, let's not ban heavy guns and let's see if things will get better just as they have been in the last few years. xDYou just quoted media talking points. Deflect. Deflect. Deflect.Meanwhile in the next couple of years, let's not ban heavy guns and let's see if things will get better just as they have been in the last few years. xD
My information ain't off dawg, you're just being incredibly ignorant to what is shown in front of you, but you find Trump to be a funny president so who am I even talking to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Only one doing the deflecting here is you. Quite convenient how you chose to not even disprove any of the points I made in my first post, chose to keep ignoring the obvious fact that changes to gun laws has to be made, and that the last 2 massive shootings in modern US history just so happens to have been with heavy armed guns, but sure. I am the one who is doing the dodging when you can only tell me to do my own research when you can't even properly put up an argument on my earlier points or even provide me with these little statistics yourself.Deflect. Deflect. Deflect.
What did you show me that I'm being ignorant to? I asked you to do some research into gun deaths and you chose to remain ignorant. Me finding President Trump funny has nothing to do with my stance on gun deaths.
You didn't make any points.Only one doing the deflecting here is you. Quite convenient how you chose to not even disprove any of the points I made in my first post,
So just ban all the AR's and all with be fixed, right?chose to keep ignoring the obvious fact that changes to gun laws has to be made, and that the last 2 massive shootings in modern US history just so happens to have been with heavy armed guns, but sure.
You didn't have any points. All you said was 2 shooting events happened and that these guns should be banned. You didn't come to that conclusion yourself, which is obvious, because your argument is a mirror image of how 'liberal' media outlets are reporting.I am the one who is doing the dodging when you can only tell me to do my own research when you can't even properly put up an argument on my earlier points or even provide me with these little statistics yourself.
I don't think I'm right, I know I am. I'm all for banning AR's because yeah they are quite unnecessary. However, if you're going to say that in response to the shooting in Las Vegas or Orlando you're simply feeding into the storm. If you genuinely cared about people being killed by guns, you would do your googles and understand that while mass shootings are horrendous, they are but a rain drop in a lake of gun violence. Take this for example; You think you're right? Then post your little facts and stop wasting my time with this baseless bickering.
Let that sink in before you berate me with your unintelligible ranting about mass shootings and AR's. It's not about the automatic rifles. It's about guns in general. The only way to stop the real mass shootings are to ban guns in all totality. However, that will never happen because of the way our country was built.Of the 169,395 firearm deaths in the US from 2011 to 2015 (the most recent five years of data available), 105,183 (or 62 percent) were suicides. You must be registered for see links
Well it always helps to read, as I never said that just banning AR's and automatic rifles would completely stop mass shootings. I said that it would lessen the number of casualties in the mass shootings. Obviously America would never choose to completely get rid of their guns, I was never trying to even argue that. I brought up Orlando to illustrate what weapon was used in that incident and the number of people that were killed in that time frame. He would have never killed those many people with just a handgun, and the same thing can be said for Las Vegas. So just ban all the AR's and all with be fixed, right?

I don't even live in Chicago though...?Well it always helps to read, as I never said that just banning AR's and automatic rifles would completely stop mass shootings. Your technical rambling on the "who's" and the "why's" are not going to help solve this problem when we should be focusing on the now, and right now they should take the necessary steps on banning heavy guns, because like I said, it will lessen any mass shootings that might occur in the future, because it's only common sense that gun violence will never cease in this country while we have guns. More guns mean more deaths. Period.
Suicide ratings, homocides and home invasions are all gun related, and I am not denying that those are problems, but if we want to get rid of people killing large amounts of people with dangerous weapons then we need to remove weapons that aren't needed for normal usage.
Your problem is that you think I am overlooking the other gun related issues so you want to completely throw mass shootings under the bus and call it a "rain drop in a lake" because you're probably so used to seeing people shoot each other in Chicago so that might be your mentality, but whatever.
What things are supposed to get better? Less people will die in a mass shooting? Cool, we saved a few hundred people over a 5 year period becausde we banned AR's. So? We can do better is the point. Using incidents like Las Vegas and Orlando to push the media's rhetoric blindly also doesn't help.Meanwhile in the next couple of years, let's not ban heavy guns and let's see if things will get better just as they have been in the last few years. xD
First off, I find it to be quite sad, yet hilarious that you can even compare those who are willingly choosing to end their own lives, versus those who lost their lives by some maniac. Even if we decided to totally get rid of guns, people would still find other ways of killing themselves like with hanging or taking pills. The suicide problem will ultimately never go away as their are other means of ending your life other than with a gun. What things are supposed to get better? Less people will die in a mass shooting? The media will push their agendas and people who refuse to do their own research will consistently believe them. Don't just sit here and clamor about the need to ban bump fire stocks or AR's just because the media is saying it causes so many deaths in these situations. Sure, they're not wrong in that obvious analysis. However, what about the tens of thousands of deaths caused by firearms through suicide annually? If you care about gun deaths, why go after the literal tiniest portion of it(Mass shootings) when you can tackle the vast majority of them(Suicides).
You didn't even do your research when I provided it to you. You are right, people will try to kill themselves, however guns make it a lot easier and make their attempts more successful.First off, I find it to be quite sad, yet hilarious that you can even compare those who are willingly choosing to end their own lives, versus those who lost their lives by some maniac. Sounds like a very personal problem and you are allowed to have that opinion. However, I am of the opinion that all life is meaningful and if a suicide can be prevented we should try. We shouldn't spit upon their graves simply because they made a choice and forget about the 20,000 more that will do it again next year and the year after that.Second, we cannot control how people think, so if people want to shoot themselves in the head then that's their own problem. What? You want me to have the same amount of sympathy and concern for suicide victims like I have with people who get shot up at a concert for no reason? Not gonna happen.
A rain drop in the lake of gun violence. You're trying to figure out a way to stop a needle from getting in the hay stack while we should be figuring out how to clean up the hay stack to begin with. What we can control is allowing people to purchase automatic weapons by banning them so that other maniacs do not attempt to kill so many people in one go round.
I honestly don't even care about your suicide argument as that is not even something we can fix even if we banned guns entirely.
I already looked that up and you are just proving my own point with that statistic. While 50% of suicides are used by a gun, another 42% of victims succumbs to other methods such as hangings and poisons. That is almost a whopping 50% minus guns, but yeah sure, lets remove guns and pretend like the suicide problem will just magically disappear when we have over 40% of suicide victims using other methods of ending their life. Suuure. You didn't even do your research when I provided it to you. You are right, people will try to kill themselves, however guns make it a lot easier and make their attempts more successful.

In 2015, firearms were the most common method of death by suicide, accounting for a little less than half (49.8%) of all suicide deaths. The next most common methods were suffocation (including hangings) at 26.8% and poisoning at 15.4%.
I am looking at what we can control and prevent. We cannot control if people want to kill themselves or not like with that head singer from Linkin Park, just to bring up an example. He didn't use a gun to end his life, he hanged himself. Both are tragedies that can be prevented. You aren't looking at the bigger picture.
And like I said, if you care so much about suicide victims then remove all methods for a person to kill themselves.Sounds like a very personal problem and you are allowed to have that opinion. However, I am of the opinion that all life is meaningful and if a suicide can be prevented we should try.
Okay Naruto. We shouldn't spit upon their graves simply because they made a choice and forget about the 20,000 more that will do it again next year and the year after that.
More guns equals more deaths. This is not rocket science.A rain drop in the lake of gun violence. You're trying to figure out a way to stop a needle from getting in the hay stack while we should be figuring out how to clean up the hay stack to begin with.
While you're trying to provide an argument for suicide victims when almost half don't even use a means with a gun...?You must be registered for see links
Do you work in construction? You move goalposts very well. You initial argument was that we need to ban AR's to stop so many people from dying in mass shootings. I provided evidence that suicide by firearm in one year kills 20x the amount of people murdered in mass shootings by AR's.I already looked that up and you are just proving my own point with that statistic. While 50% of suicides are used by a gun, another 42% of victims succumbs to other methods such as hangings and poisons. There are other ways to prevent suicide.By your own logic, lets remove any kinds of toxins, drugs or maybe even rope so that people can't hang themselves from a tree.
Refer to the above. This is a ridiculous argument.I am looking at what we can control and prevent. We cannot control if people want to kill themselves or not like with that head singer from Linkin Park, just to bring up an example. He didn't use a gun to end his life, he hanged himself.

Even taking away guns, it does not really help your argument as 40% of victims will just use other methods like I already said previously.
Ridiculous. And like I said, if you care so much about suicide victims then remove all methods for a person to kill themselves.
Not even sure what this is supposed to mean.Okay Naruto.
More guns equals more deaths. This is not rocket science.
People committing suicide will never go away. What don't you get about that?
Half don't use guns so ****'em right? Just let them be and don't try to help right? While you're trying to provide an argument for suicide victims when almost half don't even use a means with a gun...?
Yes, it is.
Only part I will respond to since you just seem to be dumb as **** my guy. If you can find a way to keep people from doing what they want to THEIR OWN BODIES then more power to you bruh. Wishful and ignorant thinking, which is why I made the reference of you thinking just like Naruto. You think you can save everyone and that we should give a shred of concern for people who don't want to even help themselves? Like I said, you have the mentality of a child.Half don't use guns so ****'em right? Just let them be and don't try to help right?
You sat here and made the most ridiculous arguments and I'm dumb? You have a very twisted view of suicide for some reason and it's quite sickening. Maybe in a few years you'll understand how much life is worth.Only part I will respond to since you just seem to be dumb as **** my guy. Done with this debate so you can have the win.
