Hai Tenzo-sensei!
I wouldn't mind learning an element, but I think there's more to learn if I learn basic stuff like how to make clones and all kinds of similar things because these are really needed in battle?

As the rains starts to fall down heavily, I use my hands as a cup and hold the water together. I use my most basic water-element training(which i'm learning from Kirabi) so that that the water doesn't slip between my fingers

I feel the energy you released coursing through me and silently curse for being eletrocuted.Thinking on what I just felt, I try to explain.
I can feel that the lightning chakra is very dominating because of the water through which it's power amplifies. You can feel that, lightning constantly moves, never staying on one place at the same time (like f.e. a raiton attack you see the sparks flying everywhere). I also think the flow depends on the situation, because in this case I was soaked because of the rain.
That's about the experience I felt sensei.

In the universe of shinobi, lightning is weak against wind. I can't really figure out why this is, but i've been wondering for quite a while why...
I assume it's weak against wind because it scrambles up the static fields that create the lightning in some way, but i'm not quite sure sensei...

Ah, yes. It's because Lightning tends to be a wild element, while Wind is wide-spread, thus disrupting Lightning's flow. But yes, excellent reply. As long as you tried, I'm not holding anything against you.

Lightning, also known as Raiton (雷遁), is strong against the "Earth Element" (commonly known as Doton,土遁). As to why, I think it's unlogical because outside the Narutoverse, when earth absorbs lightning from a conductor, the lightning is weakened... Once again i'm not sure as to why it's strong.
Next to that, lightning's best combination is in combination with water release attacks. The effect is that, quite obviously, the lightning gains a tremendous amount of power amplification due to water being a very good conductor. It's also possible that the target gets paralyzed because of the attack, be it due to a self made watersource or that the target is soaked in water from a previous source.
Hopes that sensei thinks it's good enough.

Now that you have learned the basics of Raiton chakra, put your hand into the water and focus your chakra into your hand to send small statics of electricity throughout the water. Remember the experience I dealt you before.

You shocked me before, when I cupped the water in my hand, remember?!
As I feel wind blowing through the water, i charge up my chakra to defend against the wind infused water. As I feel myself becoming more accustomed to the electricity, I'm able to use it more easily. I send out the chakra after having it charged up, softly increasing the static to counter the wind. I have to take in that it's still in water, so in a certain way, my lightning still has the upperhand as it the conductor is the water itself.
