Yes. Exactly. Moves such as these work very well since they attack from the top. When you battle, the opponent only looks towards you and what's before them. Very few think of looking up so you could distract him while releasing this move at them.

For this next jutsu, it's Kakashi's famous one, Raikiri.
It's basically an advanced version of Chidori.
Now create a chidori once again, however, enhance it with more chakra to make it more powerful...but in mind that this jutsu needs extremely good chakra control.
As the Chidori is just a simple mass of electrical energy, this is more bluer and much more focused.
Now try it.

Molds up huge chakra i mean hugexd while making handseal(ones for chidori)*creates a chidori* then with great chakra control, concentration i channel more raiton chakra into the chidori through my hand(the one with the chidori),with much focus i manipulate it to be sharper bigger and stabulizedYes. This next jutsu was used against Sasuke by the...eh...the Lightning dude in that village Kirabi. (Sorry, I only remember this jutsu because I searched it up one time in the manga when I used it sometime ago...and I don't follow the manga, I watch the anime...)

Hey,sensei we are almost finished,so can u finish my taijutsu for my me please
Molds up huge amount of raiton chakra,while making handseals(ones for chidori ) and *makes a chidori*
Then i channel more raiton chakra into my hand(the one with the chidori) thus juicing it.
Stretching out my hand i gradually let hold of it ,manipulating it to go wild and spin in a circular motion.
It probably wouldn't start a fire, but yes, it would cut the trees down around it. Nicely said.
Very good. I believe we are done with the Lightning Element.
