You are basing you statement of her being the best because you think she is not whipped my a man as u call it but did u forget that she has a crush or either lee or neji most likely lee... So if thats your reason then throw it out and also we are going based off skills i will admit if she gets that fan and is able to use it to its full capacity then she will be a terrible threat. I will give it to hinata or sakura im pretty sure sakura is about to get some type of power up very very soon

Anko's my second favorite female character in the series, so I get where you're coming from for loving a female character with next to no screentime... (At least Tenten hasn't spent 150+ chapters being unconscious)
And as much as ShikaTema is my OTP, no, Temari does not exist solely for loving Shikamaru. Heck, one of the most important things she's done was at the end of the Kazekage rescue arc, in which she became the first person to actually tell Naruto to his face that he has the power to change people.
The Temari vs. Tenten fight is canon, too. While it happened off-panel in the manga, during the Shikamaru vs. Temari fight, Tenten made this comment.
So yeah, it actually happened.
