Studio perriot has to be the most inconsistent people I've ever seen when it comes to powerscaling. I mean seriously, us fans could have done a better job than this. Tenseigan on par with rinnegan? Yeah right. And what's with this power of Naruto? How is he soloing someone with a eye on par with rinnegan? But not even needing to use RSM. To deal with something with the power of the eyes and body. I guess fu*k logic right?

The tenseigan being on par with the rinnegan is justifiable. It is the combined power of the byakugan and Otsutsuki bloodlines, and like the mangekyou sharingan, its power comes from sacrifice. In the case of the tenseigan, all of the Otsutsuki were apparently sacrificing their byakugan to create a super weapon (a laser which wiped out an entire army in one sweep) in the event that they may have to destroy the world that Hagoromo built. This happened for many generations, and Toneri himself had no eyes since birth.

If we compare the rinnegan and tenseigan, first let us compare Hagoromo and Hamura using the information that we have. Both of them inherited their mother's chakra, with Hagoromo having mutated eyes (rinnegan) and Hamura having the byakugan. Both of them had access to gudoudama, the ability to use rikudou chakra (rikudou chibaku tensei seal) and from this we can conclude that they were more or less even (they are in fact twins.) The rikudou sennin was only called thus by the people of Earth because he as the ONLY Otsutsuki that remained on the planet after sealing the gedou mazou. If Hamura remained he would have also been called the rikudou sennin, except one of the byakugan. The only thing different between them were the exclusive abilities of their eyes, but I am willing to believe that the power of their bodies were the same.

Somewhere I think I read that Toneri has a weapon which does this. He does not do that himself. Also he sliced what remained of the moon.It can not be the whole moon because the meteors that came to Earth were pieces of it. An impressive feat although. As for the energy balls I did not see them do something OP like the tsbs.

Still doesn't make sense. It would have made sense for Naruto to use RSM to fight Toneri. I mean its not like the guy was using it or anything. That would have made Narutos win believable. They need to have us fans in charge of stuff like this, but I guess getting Hamura chakra in place is just as good.

Pre shinju one eye'd Juudara maybe, One needs to be close to or on Juubi jin level to pull a feat like that. People are kinda forgetting that sm naruto was able to outstep and damage one eye'd Juudara. So a full kyuubi chakra sage mode naruto being able to rekt toneri like that is no surprise to me.
