There's no escaping the mafuba once innitiated (unless you know the reverse mafuba), freeza might be caught by surprise, but knowledge plays the biggest role in power, in fact it is power.
Tenshinhan, the moral winner (shortterm), dies as a result of using the mafuba. (but can be wished back)
Freeza will eventually be freed, be it by the likes of the pilaf gang or because the planet with the rice cooker on it gets to his natural or unnatural end, and continues his immortal life.

If it was, i'd be posting:

Against post/training frieza Tien gets smacked around

Against namek frieza and even mecha frieza, cell saga Tien shits on him with Ki beam, which was restraining 2nd form cell, which is by data 1000 times stronger than that frieza. If frieza was to receive that attack, just a few of the beams would have shattered his whole body.
