A. That only destroyed the shell containing the byakugans. It was still operational afterwards. The biggest proof being that after Toneri lost his eyes, he could still utilize the tenseigan powers with the byakugans. It was still being used.

B. I don't think Naruto had Haruma chakra. There's no real indication that the chakra Hinata gave Naruto was a lasting buff.

A. I didn't see him use any Tenseigan powers afterwards. No chakra cloak or TSB. Just energy ball that he never used before and Hamura's eyes were among them.

B. People in the war had Kyuubi's chakra for some time.

No but the altar is needed for the tensigan. That explains why kaguya didn't awaken it.

It's never addressed as an altar and the eyes are just used to power the moon. That's it.

The Bijuus have those Kekkai Genkai don' t they? Goku has Lava, Shukaku has Magnet, Kokuo has Boil and Juubi has Wood.

The Bijuus are apart of the Juubi. Kaguya is the Juubi itself.

Meaning whatever the Bijuu can do, so can she, because they are literally the same being.

Hell, remember how Madara gained access to Storm style after he became the Juubi's Jinchuriki? That's because every KG comes from Kaguya.

Yet we never see Kaguya use Lava, Wood, Boil, or Magnet release. Why is that ?

Sage Chakra doesn't evolve the Sharingan. EMS is Sharingan's limit. Rennigan is a completely different dojutsu.

For example, if Hashirama/Naruto had gotten chakra from Madara/Sasuke, they too would have unlocked the Rennigan, without having a sharingan at all. Meaning the Rennigan is independant of the Sharingan.

Hence why Nagato was unable to switch his Rennigan back EMS/Sharingan, yet Kakashi is fully capable of switching between sharingan and MS.

Hence why Madara was unable to use any EMS techniques after he came back to life in a real body, because all his eye was was a Rennigan, which is unable to switch back into a sharingan if it's not the original body.

Rennigan can only be awakened through Indra and Ashura incarnates. Namely, only Naruto, Sasuke, Madara & Hashirama have the potential of unlocking the Rennigan

On the other hand, ANY Hyuga with Ootsutsuki chakra [Hinata, Neji, Hanabi, Ko, Tokuma Hiashi, etc] and ANY Ootsutsuki with Byakugan eyes can unlock the Tenseigan. Basically, the Tenseigan has a wider potential to be unlocked by a wider audience.

But my point was that Rennigan and Sharingan are individual, independent dojutsus, not the same. Meaning Sharingan's limit is EMS.

The sharingan doesn't "evolve" with Rikkudo chakra. What Rikkudo chakra does for the rinnegan is takes a completely unrelated power (rikkudo chakra and/or juubi) to act as a crutch for the dojutsu. Whereas chakra acts as a requirement, not a buff for the tenseigan. The tenseigan doesn't need to bring in unrelated abilities to make it powerful. Everything it accomplishes, is the power of the dojutsu itself. Whereas the sharingan and rinnegan need to bleed out senjutsu chakra, the non-dojutsu ability, to be in the ballpark and or surpass the Tenseigan. It shows complete inferiority as an eye power itself.

Who the heck is arguing for the Byakugan? We're talking about the Tenseigan. We're not talking about Orthodox methods of awakening, we're talking about what each eye can do without taking in a body power coughjuubi, senjutsu, Rikkudo chakracough.

Wait wait wait. You just compared Toneri to a god in chakra. It's just compatibility between the clans like the rinnegan(except it's even more unorthodox than that), not receiving the chakra of a god-tier being like Hagoromo to boost it.
