] during the process of attraction, Gaara's capabilities allow him to ensure their survival
after being caught, as well. While it's an easy task for him to pulverize earth and rocks into sand [

], of which he can wield impressive magnitudes [

], he's able to form those magnitudes into giant domes [

] or even shields [

]. Turning Chibaku Tensei's rocks into such defensive shapes would be no issue for Gaara; especially not with Tsunade as his support. Since the location is a desert, the process is further eased.
Apart from that supreme move, Tendou's arsenal does not have what it takes to break through Gaara's absolute defense or tire out Tsunade's Sousou Saizei or even Byakugou, which is unlikely to be required, though. Tsunde's close range approach combined with Gaara's constant sand attacks would quickly exploit Shinra Tensei's interval. Then again, of course, there's Katsuyu to exert even more pressure on Tendou or to heal Gaara remotely, in case that was necessary.
