People please just don't answer and let him understand it alone .

Go for it I don't need your reply anyways when there are other's who understand. Write whatever you want I don't care.

because it goes by numbered tails, think of it as levels. the two tails nibi is not the three tails cause it only has two, the ten tails would have ten not 45. the nine tails doesnt have 35 tails does it? its common sense.

At least you understood what I wrote I understand why he went to ten but there will be 45 tails in the ten tails beast. Which others don't get.

The Tentails is divided into nine parts (which later became the nine Bijuus), the last part (the physical remains) was put into a collosal stone prison and shot into heaven, creating the moon.
10 tails = 1 tail from each Bijuu + 1 tail created entirely for the 10 Tails itself.
With every Bijuu that is added, there is an extra tail to it. So to create for example, the Nibi, you have to take the Ichibi and put an extra tail to it = Two tailed beast.
Remember this is manga: maths is rarely used in this and we're talking about huge chakra forms disguised as demons. There's not much logic to it I'm afraid.

It is called the 10 tails because it has 10 tails...

When fused it doesn't get 45 tails, it just has 10.

Now before you make a thread about a stupid thing like this THINK about it

"uhhh derp why is a beast with 10 tails called the 10 tails?"

I understood what you said. I was just saying why it wouldn't have 45 tails if it was combined. Having all of those tailed beasts would be too much to remember. And I also said why Kishi went to 10 tails, not 45 tails. Each Tailed beast has it's own tail, 1-9. Add them all together you get 10 tails. I know if you add all their tails together you'd get 45, but it wouldn't make sense for them to try to make a tailed beast with 45 tails when we would know nothing of the tailed beasts with 10-44 tails.

If that's your logic, then there would be

1 Tailed Beast
2 Tailed Beast
3 Tailed Beast
6 Tailed Beast
12 Tailed Beast
24 Tailed Beast
48 Tailed Beast
96 Tailed Beast
192 Tailed Beast

Then all those together would make the 384 Tailed Beast. See the problem yet?

It is truly sad how naive this person is. The 10 tails beast was the original. Its power was then split unevenly, with beasts with varying levels of chakra. the more tails, the more chakra. It does say in the manga that the number of tails doesn't dictate how powerful a beast is, but it does show relative chakra. Naruto had more chakra than Kakashi in part 1, but Kakashi was still more powerful than him.

Dont know why people are calling him stupid, if you add all the tails of the beasts up, it equals 45. Dividing the 9 tails wouldnt create the 1-8 tailed beast, it would create 9 seperate 1 tailed beast. I think thats what hes saying.

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9=45 did you get that that's how many tails have been seal into the ten tails

Tentails exists out of chakra and his body = 9 parts and 1 part. The body (= 1 part) was sealed inside the stone prison and became the moon after being thrown into heaven. That leaves one huge part, or nine parts on earth. Now just imagine this that after dividing the chakra evenly into 9 parts (the 9 bijuu), each part started to develop on his own. The One Tail didn't develop and stayed with one tail, but the other bijuus all 'leveled' up (let's say it like that) and created their own tails. Now Kyuubi mentioned that the amount of tails doesn't have a lot to do with the amount of power, you can consider it as a way to recognize each bijuu.
Now I researched the internet and the bijuus in Naruto are based on the real legend of the bijuu. In that legend there were nine animals (raccoon, cat, shark, rooster/snake combined; dog, beaver, squirrel, snake-shaped with eight heads and fox), who each had their own amount of tails: the raccoon had one, the cat two, the shark three, etc.
I can't find a legend of Tentails so Kishimoto-sensei just invented that one to fit with the others.
You should see it as when the beasts are combined they all slink back to their original form, forming a big mass of chakra again that will be added to the body and create the Tentails.
So no don't do the math, because you just can't do it with the bijuus. I understand why you made it, but considering the legends of the bijuus, just stick with the knowledge that 1) Kishismoto-sensei isn't good in maths and 2) Tentails just follows up nicely after NineTails
I hope that made sense :ghehe:

I wonder how long Kishi needs to draw to just create 1 scene of that beast, not to mention how it would look with 45 tails, rediculous.
