Nate awoke, sitting in his seat, he felt dizzy, he had been sleeping for god knows how long, or had he been unconscious. Suddenly, a big chest fell from above him, it crashed past him and through the back of the carriage, the wood and splinters falling into the depths below. The carriage was hanging over the edge of a cliff, the raging sea slamming against the cold rocks below, the wind had a gentle yet cold touch to his skin. He began to remember, he had been riding in the carriage, trying to reach the location of a hidden temple, when suddenly the carriage was forcefully blasted sideways as if an explosion had thrown them across the ground, rolling and crashing towards the cliff, knocking him out. He knew not what had happened, but he knew it was someone who did not want him to find what he was searching for. Nate crawled out through the side of the carriage, hanging by it he managed to get up to the cliff. He felt light bruising to the chest, apparently the air had been knocked out of him.
He looked around him, the rain was light, the trees around shielding the ground. He pulled out the map that he had marked, he was close. He began tracking through the rainforest, he remembered back to his journey. It began with his friend Sully and them traveling through the land of fire searching for clues to the existence of it, they solved riddles, puzzles and they came across many dangerous traps, but they always seemed to get out of them just fine. It was not until recently that Sully left him, not because he was not intrigued by their quest, but because he was getting old and did not wish to continue any further, he wanted to retire. Thus, Nate continued onward on his own. As he tracked through the mud, he could hear the rain hitting the leaves above, yet some sun rays still managed to get through the clouds. He came through the bushes and the forest and into a small clearing. There he witnessed something incredible, it was a large hill with four totemic statues surrounding it and a large rock section formed like an entrance. This must be it, this was what he had been searching for, for so long. He walked through the opening, taking the first torch he could find, lighting it.
As he made his way through the catacombs, he could see the ancient writings across the walls, the ceiling having engrave images of what seemed like the history of the place. He was continuously searching, as it led him further, and further down into the depths below. He had an eerie feeling that he was being watched, but how, there was no place that he could be watched from it seemed. He came through the end of the catacombs and into a large opening. A beam of light shined down from above, through an opening above. What was at the end of the light, that was it. The temple of the dragon. It was said to hold what had been described as a fairy heart, said to hold unimaginable power. Now Nate was not the person to search for power, but more for the adventure and the journey, but always enjoyed finding long lost treasures and civilizations. He walked down the stairs until he came to the last broken part, he jumped into the water that surrounded the temple, it was not very deep, easy to walk through towards the temple, he just made it out in front of the temple looking up at the magnificent stonework.
