Temari's screen time

Did anyone else notice how much screen time (or whatever you call it in the manga) Temari has been getting? It hasn't been that much but just as much as some of the K11 and more than others like Shino. Considering how minor of a character she is, I wonder why she's been given this much attention. Do you think Temari's being set up for a future role. Could this have to do with her relationship with Shikamaru?

Hmm Temari does get somewhat more screen time compared to most in Konoha 11 but I'm wondering where is Kankuro. I'd say it is because she is more powerful than most of the chunin/jounin in the manga and her abilities are more helpful than the other fodder in this fight.

Against the Juubi, Temari attacked it using a Juubi sized wind cast net with the help of Kyubbi chakra.

Just curious why you guys want Temari to not get more screen time? As for the questions you posed as to why she is getting whatever little development she is getting, I guess it might lead to some pairing with Shikamaru. The same reason why Hinata got a lot of screen time. Another reason might be because currently she is the strongest Suna ninja considering that Gaara is lying on the floor unconscious. Same goes for Mei and Tsunade so currently Temari is also the strongest female ninja right now.
