Am I the only that actually thinks Temari takes this one? She by far is the only female around their age that is a Jonin. From Part 1, she practically took down the entire forest. She one of the best Wind Users so far. Not only are her Wind Release are powerful, but she is also a very smart tactician.
Actually, if I were her - I'd withdraw and begin SERE if pursuit is suspected.
She's outnumbered, is up against one kekegenkai that is relatively feared/sought for its insight... and it's just an overall unfavorable situation.
As the team, I'd split tenten off to run a 90-120 degree vector at her optimal engagement range - maneuvering within that relative offset while hammering from range.
Hinata would split off opposite and run about a 25 - 45 degree vector seeking concealment for an approach, using her Byakugan to advance only when Temari is distracted.
Sakura punches a crevice out into the ground to provide an indentation in the ground to shelter from wind blasts and pelts from range with rocks while running interference while Ino sets up for a mind transfer.
By forcing multiple ranged vectors on Temari and using mild encirclement, they can adequately divide attention while focusing fire. Sakura is largely a 'tanking' and support character for Ino's ranged mind transfer ability (an auto-win if it succeeds). Tenten uses her own ranged specialty to pin down Temari and force her to divide her attention. Her noted speed and taijutsu abilities come in handy running a direct intercept if Temari attempts to counter-circle.
Hinata is the insurance policy. She closes in from obscurity and makes a powerful linear assault once within effective range of the Gentle Step techniques. If that somewhow fails - she's death-by-ankle-bite with Gentle Fist as Tenten closes to rain in direct fire support (Think: "AC-130U Spooky").
Temari's best option is to vector 180, select zone five afterburn, and burn dinos until she's in danger of going Joker before able to RTB.
