Asuma can't close the gap between them before getting blown off by a swipe of her fan.
His Katon isn't capable of overpowering anything, it works as an explosive smokescreen that first must spread around before it actually explodes and turns into fire, therefore his best bet to try and compete would be his Futon, but that would stalemate at best.
In the end he has no answer for her summoning, earning her a mid-high diff win.

asuma wins mid diff.

Asuma wins a sketchy tactical battle w/ Temari eventually ending up in cqc. fuuton to fuuton asuma can break even until he gets Ash Cloud firebomb timed in the right interval; then he closes Temari out. Her rangy AoE isn't actually powerful, while her stout Cast Net, is more linear, like Asumas shaving wind beam, Fuujin no jutsu.
He can even shoot down the sky-waltzing, slasher weasel -in all its feat-less glory- if need be.

I don't see Asuma losing at all since I don't see him ever in any disadvantage, situational or static.
Those foils only exist for Temari, and Asuma should have the stamina adv. being from nobility & holding elite stature

Asuma's gonna need a helluva shunshin and a prayer considering Temari can level the surrounding area in one foul swoop. Although with a skillful shunshin and the extended range of his trench knives, he may be able to close the distance and waste her in CQC. This could go either way but I'm leaning more towards Asuma.
