I think we're grossly underrating Neji, Lee, Shino, Shikamaru and Chouji. Them 5 alone would put up an extremely difficult fight, if not win the match.
Team 2 mid-high diff.
What are you on NK? Sai creates two ink birds allowing Darui and Temari to fly away safe from any close-mid range attacks. Now they can freely spam their wide area of effect elemental blasts safe in the air. Shino's bugs get sliced apart and electrocuted, Shikamaru gets overwhelmed. Neji can protect himself or act a meat sheild but other than that, he becomes useless. Chouji also gets killed fast.
This doesn't take Kankuro into account who has around five puppets, one of which can go underground to surprise the enemy. This team has total control over the air and ground. They beat Konoha 11 with mid-high difficulty but the team you put forward gets shafted mid difficulty.
Also to protect Kankuro from a blitz by Lee, he can draw a large number of ink beasts coupled with his own ink clones and taijutsu skills. During all that, Kankuro can send multiple puppets to decimate Konoha 11 all while Konoha 11 are being slaughtered by Darui and Temari in the air. In modern times, having total control over the air while the opposing force has none makes you literally invincible. Konoha 11's only chance is to have Rock Lee throw Neji up in the air to bring them down with a vacuum palm or have Chouji fall on top of the other team but this is very risky.
