Temari is also a long range fighter with her wind potentially completely countering any aerial attack he tries. She has shown above average analytical skills.

She also has her summon, which we have seen in part one nearly cut down a whole forest.

Would she pose a threat to Diedara?

She can only pose a threat in a scenario located in forrested area and Temari going all out from get go.

Other than that...Her winds would be derailed until they reach flying Deidara or he can avoid.

But if Temari was a raiton user at the same caliber of her fuuton; that would be a major til on her favor.

Well the only way Temari can win is if she makes Deidara's bomb blow up right next to Deidara. Otherwise, Deidara beats Temari low-mid difficulty 9/10 times. Akatsuchi, a kage bodyguard, failed to keep up with Deidara and Onoki's flight speed. Deidara managed to evade Gaara's massive scale sand attacks in the desert so I believe he can evade Temari's relatively less massive wind attacks.

Say Deidara throws a bomb at Temari, it might be possible for Temari to destroy the bomb and have it explode before the bomb travels far from Deidara.

Only deidara controls when the bombs detonate lol temari can not stop them from detonating .
