A common thing to occur on the field, is that we often... SOMEHOW, I don't know myself, get objects lodged into our body, being splinters, shrapnels, etc. This can be dangerous unless... Extracted. Now, also blades, also have a tendency to inflict more damage when being ripped out, when self-removing these objects, and could deal further damage.
Now, us, the Medical Ninjas, can use this skill along with others such as blood coagulation, to remove an object, without damaging the tissue around it.
Using the technique here, Extraction, is performed by placing our hands on either side of the injury area, and use our chakra to carefully manipulate the tissue in order to remove the object without making extra damage to the flesh. Depending on the object, it can very from seconds to few minutes.
Try some training on eachother. I will patch you up after.
Make use of previous taught lessons.
Training:
Remove various foreign objects from your partner (wood splinters, kunais, senbons, etc)
After carefully lodging 3 set of sharp objects into my colleague. A needing on his right arm, little above the elbow. A wood splinter on his left forearm, a little below the wrist and a 6 inch nail is lodged in the sole of his left foot.
I start by cleaning all myself as learnt, I focus moderately aggressive chakra into my right hand, forming a ball chakra around the hand and then probe my entire body gently until I an clean as a whistle. Then I proceed to the next step which is cleansing my patient and ridding him of every bacteria, germs and microbes that my seek to infect the wound. I follow the sme process albeit adding more chakra to increase the aggressiveness a tiny bit. I would probe his entire body too to disinfect him from all micro-organism.
Having done with the cleansing process, I would focus my chakra once more, now to both my hands in a moderately aggressive manner. This time, the chakra in not meant to cleanse but to respond to changes in the anatomy of my patient. I would run the chakra through him to see the extend of his injury internally and externally. The diagnosis would allow me to know the depth of the lodged object within the body of the patient and having located and recorded the details of the injury, I would proceed to the next step.
I would begin by clading the same chakra around both my hands and place them on each side of the right arm first, then using the chakra, I would initiate the tissue caressing the needle to gently move the needle out and within a few seconds, it would be out.
I do the same for the left wrist and the left leg, though the left leg would take a longer time than the rest due to the nail being the longest.
I quickly beckon on Sensei to come and heal the wound.
