like forexenple u know smoking is bad for ur health...yet u keep smoking....but u won't get teh full awareness untill u experience those negative effects of smoking?????..

It's one of the greatest wonders of the world.

We maybe aware but it doesn't sink in till it hits us. Till then any such knowledge is just a piece of information and a vague possibility which may never happen to anyone we care about. We like to wish and believe that it happens to other people or just a myth.

A 30 year old guy died of covid19 just a a few days ago- aparantly he attended a Corona party to see if it's real or hoax or something like that. At a time like this when everyone is talking about the patient number and death count he wanted to test it.
Wanting to learn from their own experience as if he didn't catch it, it would be enough to reject it as a hoax.
