Sasuke was telling him to go all out which clearly implies sasuke was not willing to go all out until naruto goes out. You're in denial if you think sasuke thought he can beat naruto with lesser techniques. Not even kaguya thought naruto was equal to sasuke. Why did she pull sasuke into another land instead of naruto?

Naruto couldnt do anything against madara without sasuke directing and outpacing him in the fight. Kaguya had to relay on her RS to dodge sasuke's chidori. both these feats suggest sasuke is superior.

Anyway the only thing the manga showed was that Naruto had to get repeatedly nerfed just so Sasuke could stand a chance. Naruto going serious and for the kill = GG Sauce.

Oh by the way Sasuke is fodder without his constant handouts, Naruto would still be elite without Kurama.

Sasuke's jutsu rely largely on pre-cog, copy ability, endurance granted to him by the Sharingan combined with his other handouts. He probably wouldnt have any of the arsenal he had except maybe fire ball jutsu without it. And it would take him quite some time to learn other things to even put him at a comparable level to Kurama-less Naruto

Naruto fought to match not to win nor kill, while Sasuke fought to win and kill. Naruto sure had it tough, making sure that he wouldn't kill Sasuke and also making sure that he himself wouldn't die.

Kaguya never had to use RS against naruto. Wonder why? Naruto never touched madara without sasuke's help. Wonder why? Madara complemented sasuke twice. Wonder why? Naruto used his strongest jutsu and he was not going for the kill? Did naruto measure how strong sasuke was to ensure he appriopriated his jutsu strength to his durability level?
