1) Goten is a full power super saiyan (aka way stronger than future trunks), secondly literally nobody knows how strong piccolo is in the buu saga. he was already stronger than imperfect cell, got way stronger in the hyperbolic time chamber (goku's assessment) and then trained for 7 years. He's probably at least on par with super saiyan 1 gohan (mind you ssj2 is only a times 2 boost). I give this to piccolo goten and trunks.

there is no way that hes even close to ssj1 gohan... face it toriyama left piccolo on the sidelines to do nothing. I don't believe he grew stronger at all, remember what dabura said? only the strong could enter babidi's ship, and gohan goku and vegeta were all in base form....

Is this buu saga piccolo? Also goten is full power super saiyan strength (aka goku vs cell level). I could go into details if required. Ussj trunks is almost as strong as full power super saiyan. Piccolo is potentially fpssj1 strength by buu saga, and goten IS full power super saiyan. Ssj2 is only x2 ssj1 (full power obviously). Not really a stomp. Its close really but i give it to team 2

This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.​

dude... its a curbstomp... there is no proof that piccolo became stronger read the post i gave above. ssj2 teen gohan beat 5 cell jrs with punches and kicks without him even trying which are all above the characters mentioned in the OP

Using dabura's assessment is useless given that he can't read powerlevels (obviously). Btw, i don't want this to turn into a hate battle, i actually love dbz debates.

I did (i'm out of sync with the replies haha). Piccolo has never been leagues behind everyone. He's always been close behind. I'm of the strong belief that goten is a full power super saiyan btw. Given that gohan is 2x fpssj1, adding a full power super saiyan, a ultra super saiyan (who in raw power WAS actually comparable to perfect cell), and piccolo (who is presumably full power super saiyan level by the buu ark (he literally was stronger than imperfect cell BEFORE entering the time chamber and getting a massive boost (goku's words) and then trained for 7 years), i give it to team 2 high diff

I admit that we have seen none of his power, but there's less evidence to suggest that he DIDN'T get stronger, than there is that he DID. Regardless, full power super saiyan goten is the biggest contender in this battle

Goten maybe stronger than Future Trunks I don't think that's nearly enough to go up against a SSJ2 tho.

Doubt he was anywhere near SSJ, Dabura was told to keep the strongest fighters so they could take their energy for Buu, he left the Base Saiyan's and he spat on Piccolo.

power levels don't really work like that, you have to either be at their level or u can just stand there and tank hits like gohan did against cell and the cell jrs, there were 2 blasting him and both did nothing, and they are equal fpssj. remember even if it is only a 2x multiplier, a power level difference in the 100's is the difference between mountain busting and moon busting. and yeah for some reason we got out of sync lol.

goten was barely able to stay in contention with android 18, yes he did get stronger with the hyperbolic time chamber and i'd put him below trunks level considering he was there for a full year. I just don't see how this is remotely close

we already know that your resting power is NO indication of your actual power. Future trunks's resting power was 5. It doesn't mean anything. Dabura didn't know anything of any of their strength. He thought pui pui would kill them all remember?
