Yeah. And maybe that's one of the problems with today's clubs. All kinds of people can enter. I wouldnt let my 16 yrs old daughter to go to places where all kinds of strangers mix up and drugs are obviously involved.Ummmmm wasnt Ball stuff for the Upperclassmen? They keep stuff very hush hush.
While the Taverns and the common man's Fairs and stuff had pretty high crime rates.
The thing is today's society glorifies that kind of people while ditching the productive one. This is what happens when there are no boundaries, and media propagates this by creating imagery that desensitizes people. This has only created more obsession with ***, drugs, and violence in general. Why don't we have boundaries? It just boggles my mind. Parents and peers and even teenagers themselves take things too lightly in the name of liberalism.
Words cannot express the level of disgust I am feeling right about now. This is porn and rape imagery ... and without consent. I hope all these people are locked up for life. Humanity doesn't need them. Kill them, for all I care. Their lives hold little value and they are certainly not productive members of the society.
Balls of that nature still exist, they're just oriented towards the wealthier class or nobility. Other kinds of parties have always existed. And it will get only worse. Back then people went to balls to enjoy each other's company. Today teens go to parties to enjoy themselves. It's mostly about alcohol, drugs and ***. What do you expect?
You missed my point. Back then people were socializing, but nowadays teens/youths are usually crowded in a place where the music is so loud you can't even hear your own voice, everyone is so drunk they need a taxi to go home, they take drugs to lose senses, and talking is mostly restricted to hooking up the other gender (or the same? lol), or tbh talking is not even necessary. I wouldn't call this 'socializing'.Balls of that nature still exist, they're just oriented towards the wealthier class or nobility. Other kinds of parties have always existed.
In those days Whorehouses were not so illegal neither was drugs and there was no age limit to alcohol too you know. Not to mention there a was very inefficient Law system more corrupt than now.You missed my point. Of yourse I'm exaggerating, but the comparison still stands in those cases I'm talking about.
In short nothing changed that much. Back them rape victim was harassed and lost status for the reason of getting raped. The methods and style may have changed but end result is similar even today. And this time the reach is larger thanks to internet. In those days Whorehouses were not so illegal neither was drugs and there was no age limit to alcohol too you know. Your considering the ways of Nobility and the ways commoner of two ages in the same basket.
And if you pay for it, that's not rape but prostitution LolIn those days Whorehouses were not so illegal neither was drugs and there was no age limit to alcohol too you know. Not to mention there a was very inefficient Law system more corrupt than now.

It's the whole glorification through media that is escalating this problem. Teens think it's okay to get high, get drunk, and have pointless sexual encounters. It's all hip and cool, apparently. Peer pressure only adds to this, and lack of good social values and poor parenting is not very helpful either. The thing is today's society glorifies that kind of people while ditching the productive one.
