Techniques overrated by Fans

Couple I can think of:

- FTG : Yes it holds prowess in the manga and has huge hype when it comes to normal ninja. However, fans put Minato on God level due to this technique.. when the technique is not regarded that high at all. Most Kage level ninja can counter this tech. I mean with the logic used for this technique , Tobirama should regarded higher than Hashirama , since he can simply put a seal on him and solo him right? yea well the manga is against that.

- Jinton: all the "Jinton GG".. yea sadly that isn't the case seeing as Madara beat Muu and Onoki without even trying hard..but fans want to create scenarios with the whole "jinton GG".


Please be sure to state the others that you find that way. And this is simply my opinion don't get hurt over it. Also not bashing characters in the thread. Thank you.

I think Madara's meteor is pretty overrated. I see Katsuya being overrated alot of times as well.

Madara is one of the greatest shinobi to ever live, so it doesn't take much away from the idea that Jinton is extremely dangerous. imo atleast.

I think Kamui is a little overrated. Especially kakashi's.

Based on the feats it's shown its neither instant nor hot as the sun. Most people dodge it flat out(sasuke,ay), tank it(madara, ay) or sub it(sasuke)

I think Kamui is a little overrated. Especially kakashi's.

Forgot to mention this. People are always saying "Kamui snipe GG" when Kakashi has not only never done something like that but isn't even within his fighting style. It's distasteful for me to see...

Totsuka, Madara's meteor and Izanami is pretty overrated.

You really cant blame people for giving FTG alot of hype because its almost absolute. If Minato can see a attack coming then he can just FTG out of there. Not alot of people can counter FTG.

Kotoamatsukami - Every time we have seen it is has definitely been powerful, but every time we have seen it it's command that controls them has been stopped very simply. With Itachi, he simply knew of it and it stopped KA's ability to command him. With mifune he was simply told about it, and didn't have to follow it anymore. And one of the times we didn't see it Shisui's eye got stolen. It is definitely said to have power in the manga as one of the strongest genjutsu, but from what we have seen shows its incredibly easy to break out of. It seems like it is way too easy to stop the effect, yet I have seen multiple times that KA solos.

You fail to understand the speed at which Minato uses each move.
You just think its simply touch and teleport...then react?

Its not, FTG is a god level move, it has no flaws. Its hyped...yet live up to its hype as well. Minato doesn't even need FTG to be correct, he can move just as fast on foot.
Madara basically beat Naruto, Hashirama, and Sai in one sprint, FTG is a million times faster...even faster than that.

No, Tobirama FTG is no where near Minato's, he said it himself. You've seen the latest manga of Naruto haven't you? Madara was hit by Sasuke...Minato would have killed Madara right now (without plot protection of course).

God damn I forgot about shinsusenju. Why does that thing get so much hype? It literally did nothing but get it's arms torn up by Kurama..Just because it's big doesn't mean it's good.

Well its the same way how people overrate Gai and use the scenario of "so and so can't touch him".. but when the manga itself doesn't put Gai on that level..

No one can counter FTG...the only counter we've seen is that the Juubi melts the seal off, which if you just mark the person again its gg.

No one can react to Minato's FTG except Sasuke and that's only after he was warped. Which would make him dead if they were fighting.
