Hello nb members i was thinking that gai has never opened 8 gate so any technique he's gonna use is for the first time because he had never opened 8 gate if he did he would have died then he never practiced the technique

Do I need to throw myself on a handgrenade to know it will kill me but could potentially save others? Some theories are pretty solid by themselves and don't require it.
