Yeah, Neji is a boss, but I don't think he'd get enough support to take the title right now. And, by those standards, the actual head of the Hyuga clan would take that. They're just so hush-hush and secretive, I don't imagine that any of them particularly want the title.

I like Naruto but he does not have the maturity to become Hokage or make the difficult decisions. With his dreamy, sweet nature he'd make bad decisions based on emotion.

And how is Might Guy not strong? He is nearly tied with Kakashi, and he beat Kisame.

Right... The first one to make Jounin is fodder.... He's a side character that Kishi has abandoned, just like he did everybody else. But there's no doubt that Neji is the shit. Best in the Hyuga clan, mastered Byakugan and ALL Hyuga techniques, made it to jounin before all of his peers, etc.

Just because Kishi hasn't developed his character in years doesn't make him fodder.

Yes Shikaku would be another choice but the Kage needs to be a more balanced shinobi he does possess great intellect but doesn't have the power to back up the Hokage reputation.
