Technically Shouldn't DSM Kabuto of been unaffected by IT?

I mean when you consider the fact that during the Itachi & Sasuke vs. Kabuto fight Kabuto specifically stated that his snake like feature of the eyelids made him impervious to genjutsu shouldn't that have made him safe or do you think he didn't have it activated due to not knowing of IT?

To be honest Sasuke's susanoo casting a shadow is a lot more elaborate and hard to believe than Kabuto's intolerance to IT.

If Kishi wanted to he could easily make Kabuto unaffected and in my opinion I believe Kabuto or Orochimaru escaped (but more likely Kabuto) the IT when that one cocoon drooped. Kabuto built a jutsu specifically to fend against genjutsu and whilst people say IT isn't an ordinary genjutsu....even Jins can be captured, Edos are intolerant, we don't know the rules of this new jutsu yet and it's a likely possibility.

Still, if Kishi doesn't want him back then he will be in the jutsu but it'd be a shame to have him return just to revive Sasuke.

IT has been shown to completely bypass through all five senses the same as izanami through an all encompassing radiant light.

OT: I don't know, we don't know. He wasn't shown. Then, again, half of the SA wasn't. We don't know if his protection goes as far as avoiding IT. After all, people who were asleep or even indoors were affected.
