In majority mangas, the author write's the framework of the plot of which arc they focusing on and editorial fills in the middle.

Do you think everything in the manga came from kishi's intent? lol

Editorial made plenty of change's.

Im pretty sure Hamura wasnt originally intended lol.

Im pretty sure kaguya and her backstory wasnt originally intended.

Heck the only reason he had to edit that in was to explain hyuuga and tie them in properly.

Im sure there are more last second thing's changed by editorial which technically would be considered....filler??

Yes and no

Yes because unlike oda who plans shit all the way down to the smallest detail hundreds of chapters in advance, kishi doesn't. He plans as he goes with new ideas as long as he keeps certain A to B points intact (like naruto vs sasuke). So its not really filler just his style(terrible style imo) If someone can link that interview it be much appreciated.

This is a topic that can certainly be debated under the right context, but under the broader spectrum of things the simple reality is that the manga does not have filler.

Again, if you were to analyze specifics there are debates that could be had over what the definition of "filler" would be in regards to the storylines in the manga. But as a whole; as a very broad definition - filler is used to describe when an adaptation {anime} of an original work {manga} deviates from the source material.

If the manga begins to tell a certain storyline, then deviates from itself into a completely separate storyline - you could argue filler. But the fact is, is that as long as the manga is given to us from the original Author - no matter how much outside feedback factors into it, we the audience have no choice but to accept it as the original source. If the anime then decides to neglect a storyline, or choses to tell it in a different fashion - no matter even if we the audience believe its for the best, we have no choice but to accept it as filler because it deviated from the source material.

Why so salty bruh?

Smh people try and defend fillers to their heart's content just to get noticed. Kishi's manga is cannon, you can't call it filler.
